I do so love getting the opportunity to post on fashion trends 2014, and today I’m spotlighting the incredible wash of rich tapestry-like, embroidered and brocade pieces that are all over the catwalks at the moment. The colour palette is of deep, rich, jewel-like tones, and the prints, embroidery and designs have a folksy/bohemian feel to them – as seen in the likes of Mary Katrantzou and Valentino. As I pour over the images, the unmistakable opulence of medieval princesses is immediately apparent.
