Boca do Lobo is a “Scènes d’Intérieur Must See Exhibitor” at Maison et Objet 2014, heralded for its “pure exclusivity, luxury design and creativity.”
Boca do Lobo and Covet Lounge Exhibitions
Maison et Objet promises visitors a selection of “cutting-edge designers who interpret precious forms of savoir-faire and the noblest materials in their own surprisingly personal worlds,” which is indeed what Boca do Lobo strives to deliver in its showcase at the trade-show. (bocadolobo.com)
The event has been used as a platform to unveil two brand new pieces of furniture: the Fortuna Dining Table & the Versailles Sofa…
This design features “metal of the moment” brass tubes, which support a top of brass log rings evoking the sense of time that the tree’s lifelines detail.
The “Versailles Sofa” has been selected to feature at Maison&Objet in the Covet Lounge (HALL 5B; Stand M17 / N18), which is a private lounge to which only certain professionals will have exclusive access. As its name implies, this sofa seeks to recreate “the spirit and grandeur of the French Court in the 17th century”. (bocadolobo.com)
“The Feel” table lamp is the 6th nomination by trend-forecasting agency NellyRodi for a Boca do Lobo creation within its trend exhibition. Vincent Grégoire, head of the lifestyle department at NellyRodi, has touted Boca do Lobo as a “very opened minded company” looking at “different directions”.
All in all, if it’s not Tom Dixon you were keeping an eye out for at Maison et Objet 2014, then it should have been Boca do Lobo with their array of beautiful and luxurious designs to inspire any aspirant home-maker, even if they may not be within the means of every aspirant homemaker! 😉
