The new Issue of Plascon SPACES Magazine has hit the shelves, and this month we celebrate a creative and spiritual colour on the front cover – a purple called Winter Lilac P5-D1-2.
Purple adds an air of grandeur and sophistication to a room. One of the best partners for purple is green, as is often seen in nature.
In the latest issue of SPACES magazine we feature one kitchen painted with four different Rio-inspired colours. The image below is the purple kitchen; to see the green, red and yellow kitchens, be sure to get a copy of SPACES.
Give a small guest loo a new sophisticated look by painting the walls purple.
Use a softer shade in the bedroom to create an atmosphere of quietude and introspection.
The image below is from Majeka House (design by Etienne Hanekom) and featured in Plascon SPACES magazine. Great inspiration if you’re looking to uplift a boring passage:
The complementary colour to purple is yellow. The two colours used together not only balance each other but also enhance each other; you only need to look at nature to see evidence of this.
Have you painted anything purple? We would love to know your thoughts on this edgy colour – Winter Lilac.
