This past week I realised just how close we are to the summer holidays – and I haven’t even started thinking about gifts, trees and the ever-daunting Christmas day lunch table.
In the next week or so, look out for my DIY Christmas tree on the blog. For today we’ll be looking at what is on-trend for your table this festive season if you like soft palettes (I’ve had so much fun putting this together).
All the tables below remind me of the Pause colour story in the 2017 Plascon Colour Forecast. I love the soft, pastel tones with glass and wood.
The picture below takes me back to those long “stoep kuiers” at the beach house in Tergniet. For me there is nothing better than a vintage-inspired table… Little bits and pieces of mom, grandma and all the aunts that are passed down from generation to generation.
Look at the beautiful table setting below, as seen on The Pretty Blog. One of my favourite photographers of all times, Christine Meintjes, captures the moment and mood so perfectly.
How beautiful is this table below? I can just imagine this beautiful setting under a tree in the garden on a still summer’s evening.
Last but not least, a beautiful vintage-inspired place setting by Rooms interior design.
I would love to hear your thoughts and ideas on what you are going to do for your table this festive season. Share it with us on our Facebook page or tag us @Plasconspaces when you post it on Instagram.
