In two earlier posts (Essential Collection Part One | Essential Collection Part Two) we gave you the inspiration behind the moods and themes in Plascon’s Essential Collection, which was compiled by our Colour Manager, Anne Roselt.

Over the next three days we will be showing you all the specific shades that make up the collection in colour flow groupings, just as Hannah Malein did with our Plascon 2016 Colour Forecast Colour Flow. We start with the neutrals:

In the Essential Collection there are 36 shades in total that are reminiscent of neutral elements that we find throughout the natural world, such as sand, stone, shells and driftwood textures…

These tones conjure up desert landscapes, where flora melds seamlessly into terra… Or riverbeds strewn with water-smoothed pebbles, stones and rocks… Or sandy coastlines, littered with shells and sun-bleached logs…

Truly, we live on a spectacular planet, abundant with colour inspiration from its flora, fauna and terra – and this collection makes it ever-so-easy to bring some natural colour into your home!

Hi. The colour cards in this article are very muted / unclear and therefore it is quite difficult to get a real idea of these colours.
