Gaga’s rather boring Beverly Hills Mansion…

Love her or hate her, most people do have an opinion of her… At the very least you are aware of her and the general frenzy that tends to surround her person. And now she’s coming to our shores to perform; causing an enormous amount of fuss too, when a new online queueing system for ticket sales went awry!

However, even if you won’t be off to Gaga with the hoards, here at Plascon Trends we thought it only fitting that we should mark the occasion with a post on her royal Gaganess. I mean how boring is that mansion of hers?! She deserve something a little more Gagalicious we think…

There are a wealth of images that a quick Google search will reveal of her; but one of my favourite sets of images to this day are those taken by Mario Testino (my favourite-favourite photographer of all time) for American Vogue (March 2011), you can check out the behind the scenes film above…

We thought we’d find a few rooms that emulate the mood and feel of this gorgeous shoot (Gaga’s day-to-day style being somewhat of an acquired taste! 😉 )… Thoughts suggestions on what you would change? Your own shoots of Gaga that inspire? Let us know on our Plascon Facebook page!

SA comedian, Trevor Noah, informs me that it will cost R17 million to bring ol’ Stefani Germanotta to our shores, which is more than what it would cost to have every artist in South Africa perform!

I hope our sports minister hears that. Instead of bringing Beyonce out here, he should throw some cash at our local artists – I’m sure her fee is up in that region too…
