There was a time in my life where, had you mentioned the phrase “baby pink”, it may well have induced the gag reflex. But those days are behind me; the revolt against pastel has ended and these days the abolitionists have swung over to the other side!
We are in the golden era of soft, gentler tones… and the beautiful “pink quartz” is anything but wishy-washy. My favourite contemporary pairing of this shade is with the metallic tone of copper or rose gold. These metals have a pink undertone to their lustre which plays so nicely off the pink:
