Nothing says “Friday cheese and happiness” like a bit of Kylie Minogue pop. Kylie began her “Kiss Me Once” UK tour in September… Now, I love a bit of Kylie from time to time BUT what I really love are these fun pop-art, surrealist and colourful artworks that have been created for her latest tour:
The Chandelier Creative agency teamed up with graphic designers Mat Maitland and Hattie Stewart to make this cheeky art collection; they co-operated with animation designer Paul Plowman, Reilly, Yoko Pium and Andrea Mary Marshall to make the tour book.
Every one of the works have all the artists’ signature touch and will be screened to create sets, to her hits, on stage.
Not only is Kylie a small power-house of energy, she also (or perhaps her management team) happens to be bang on-trend with this pop-art offering.
Pop-art is making somewhat of a resurgence in 2015, both in art and in fashion prints… But more about that next week when we report back on trendtalk#9 and what to expect in the coming year!
