There is no more ‘telling sign’ that spring has arrived than to see colourful butterflies out and about. These elegant, fragile and flower-loving creatures are so beautiful. We see them making an appearance in fashion and accessories year after year. Their beauty and connection with nature means they never go out of fashion.

Here are some inspirational images to get you in the mood for spring. Starting with the new fragrance by Kenzo  – called Madly Kenzo – we’ve included the YouTube video of the advert below…

Future Branding? Scientists have apparently developed a way to put brand logos onto butterfly wings. Imagine butterflies flying around with logos on their wings! Um – I think not!

Viewed above is the gorgeous “Virtue of Blue” chandelier by Dutch artist and designer, Jeroen Verhoeven. Cut and created from five hundred sapphire-blue photovoltaic cells, these ‘solar’ butterflies collect solar energy during the day, to produce light during the night.
