1. Terms and Conditions
a. Terms and conditions, including information relating to prizes, can be found at plascontrends.co.za

2. Participant Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
a. Entry into the competition and/or acceptance of a prize (in the event that the entrant wins a prize) constitutes the entrant’s binding acceptance of the terms and conditions on behalf of themselves and any person with whom they may share the prize (in the event that the entrant wins a prize that is for themselves and one or more additional persons).

3. The Organiser
a. The Organiser is Kansai Plascon (Pty) Ltd, 10 Frederick Cooper Drive, Factoria, Krugersdorp, South Africa. For assistance or enquiries relating to the Promotion, please call our helpline on 086 0 20 40 60.

4. Age Limit
a. No persons under the age of 18 years may enter.

5. Participant Restrictions

a. This Promotion is open to residents of the Republic of South Africa aged 18 years and above, who are in possession of a valid Identity Document (“the participants/entrants”) and excludes employees and families of employees of Plascon South Africa (Pty) Ltd, their advertising agents, sales agents, promotional agents or any other director, member, partner, owner, employee, agent of, consultant to or anyone associated with, affiliated to, involved in the supply of goods or services, or organising and running of this Promotion.
b. Customers may not participate in, nor win, a competition if he/she has won a competition organised by the Organiser within the past eight months. Customers will be eligible to participate in a competition organised by us after the expiry of eight months after the date on which the customer won the last competition. If a participant wins a prize in one of the 4 monthly draws, they will not be eligible to participate in subsequent draws for the duration of the competition.

6. 3rd-Party Suppliers

a. In the event that an entrant wins a prize provided by a third-party supplier, the supplier will contact him/her to arrange the collection thereof. In this regard, the winner must collect the prize at the time and date arranged with the supplier of the prize. All correspondence regarding the prize must be directed to the supplier of the prize. Kansai Plascon will not be responsible for any further correspondence, harm, damage, loss or claim relating to the provision of any element of the prize.

7. Postponement and/or Suspension
a. The Organiser and our third-party suppliers, as the case maybe, reserve the right to vary, postpone, suspend, or cancel the competition and any prizes or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, temporarily or permanently, for any reason that we deem necessary. In the event of such variations, postponement, suspension or cancellation, the entrants and winners agree to waive any rights, interests and expectations that they may have in terms of this competition and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against Kansai Plascon, our affiliates and third-party suppliers.

8. Liability
a. Participation in this Donation Initiative and subsequent use of the prize is at OWN RISK and entrants and prize-winners hereby indemnify and hold harmless the Organiser, its partners, its employees, agents, of this promotion, advertising agencies, advisers and any other related parties, against all claims, losses and liability whether direct or indirect incurred by any entrant arising from or in connection with this Promotion, including without limitation, personal injuries, death and property damage and claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy, howsoever arising relating to their participation in the competition or claiming the use of any prize.
b. Entrants and winners absolve the Organiser, its advertising agencies, advisers and suppliers from liability for all claims howsoever arising from wilful misconduct or negligent acts or omission on the part of any such person.
c. The Organiser will not offer and shall not be liable to make payment of any monies to any person entering the Donation Initiative, other than to the prize-winner in accordance with these terms and conditions.
e. The Organiser shall not be liable if, for any reason whatsoever, it is unable to contact the entrant linked to the winning contact details within 72 hours of it being drawn.
f. The Organiser shall not be liable if, once the holders of the winning contact details have been notified, for any reason it is unable to contact the winner linked to the winning contact details for a period longer than 7 (seven) business days, and no prior arrangements (for example, alternative contact details) have been made by that winner.
g. The Organiser will not be liable for any delays in delivery of the prize.

9. Jurisdiction
a. This Promotion is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

10. Entry Method
a. To qualify, entrants must donate a minimum of R50 to the Wildlife ACT Fund between 4th July and 31st July 2014.
b. To enter, entrants must donate a minimum of R50 to the Wildlife ACT by means of the givengain project page, with their full name and contact details.
d. Incorrect or ineligible entries will be excluded from the draw.

11. Entry Restrictions
a. Each donation of R50 or more qualifies for one only. Entrants’ donation notification evidencing the donation must be retained as proof. If the winning participant cannot produce the proof of donation, the participant will be disqualified.
b. Multiple entries are permitted to a maximum of five per person, provided that each entry is submitted separately, with each being attached to a different R50 donation, and the entry is in accordance with all entry requirements.
c. The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify entrants that do not comply with the terms and conditions, where their entries are fraudulent or if they attempt to tamper with the running of the competition or to manipulate its outcome.

12. Awarding of Prizes
a. All prizes are awarded at the discretion of the Organiser. The Organiser reserves the right, at its own discretion, to substitute a prize with any other prize of comparable commercial value. The Organiser will not be liable for any latent defects in any prizes awarded.
b. The Organiser may, in its sole discretion, determine that a winner forfeits the prize, and the Organiser has the discretionary right to draw a new donation from the eligible entries.
c. The Organiser reserves the right to carry out reasonable due diligence to confirm the eligibility of the entrant in order to ensure that the use of any such person in advertising or publicity for the Promotion will not bring the Organiser or any of the Organiser’s brands into public disrepute, contempt, scandal, ridicule or reflect unfavourably on the Donation Initiative, as determined by the Organiser in its sole discretion.
d. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

13. Privacy Policy
a. Entrants will receive an “opt out” email to indicate that they would no longer accept future communication from Kansai Plascon or their commercial partners.
b. If entrants do not opt out, then they expressly consent that Kansai Plascon may share and use their personal information (a) to provide products and services they request, (b) for consumer profiling, market research.
c. Entrants’ details will be used strictly for marketing purposes by the Organiser and will not be sold to third parties.
d. The identity of the winners must be kept confidential until the winners’ identity is publicly revealed by the Organiser.
e. Winners’ names will be posted on the Organiser’s website: plascontrends.co.za and social media site: www.facebook.com/PlasconSA

14. Prize Draws
a. 1 winner will be drawn on 31st July 2014.
b. Entries received during the period 4th July until 31st July will only be eligible for this particular draw.
c. Donation and entry must take place in the same month.
d. Once entries have been verified, the draw will then take place on the indicated date.
e. The draw date is as follows: After 5pm 31st July 2014

15. Prize description
a. 2 nights stay at MannaBay Hotel, Cape Town.
b. Prizes are not negotiable or transferable and may not be deferred, changed or exchanged for cash or any other item.

16. Accommodation
a. Winners and their chosen partners will be staying at MannaBay Hotel for 2 nights during OFF-PEAK SEASON, which includes breakfast. Other meals and expenses are covered in the spending money allocated.

17. Travel Requirements
a. Winners are responsible for their own travel expenses. The prize does not include air/bus fare for winners based outside of Cape Town.

18. Promotional Dates

a. The Competition will commence at 09:00 on 4th July 2014 and will end on 31st July 2014 at 17:00.
